1. My dearest Christs in the Christ Collective,
2. You have most certainly heard the phrase "When life gives you lemons, make lemonade." Apparently, it's lemon season around these parts, so we must make gallons and gallons of never-ending lemonade. Look for the silver lining and enjoy the newest wrinkle to your well-developed plans. Find a way to escape the unwanted news and find at least a little bit of joy. Laugh at life's many messes whenever you can. Take joy in not understanding life's mysterious ways. Do something unexpected for yourself. Give yourself a gift. Do something for a friend, family member, or a complete stranger. Create joy as you serve your lemonade. You need it and the world needs it too.
3. There is just one Christ Letter this month. I will be with you again in August and until then, enjoy yourselves. Take a load off. Relax. Smile. Your souls will most certainly thank you!
