The Flowering of Christ — Resurrection 13

1. Fall is here and the cooler temperatures and fall harvest are both available for enjoyment by all. Good morning, Christs. Welcome to The Flowering of Christ / Resurrection 13. We are exploring the ten powers of Christ and today's installment will focus on the third power, which is the power to alleviate need.

2. As with all ten powers, we can't force them on anyone. A blessing is a gift and gifts can't be forced on anyone. Characters usually reject the gifts of their own souls, but remember, no spiritual gift is ever wasted.

3. Let's review the process for clarity. You, as Christ, intentionally or unintentionally bless another soul, strengthening it in the process. This strength makes your gift harder to avoid and ignore. The tiny bug becomes the elephant in the room. The choice is then the character's to make. They ask themselves if they should listen to their ego mind or listen to the elephant in the room. They will then say yes or no to the soul's nudging. If they say yes, their soul will guide them with the amount and type of power needed. If they say no, their soul will again wait with unlimited patience, but this time, a strong elephant is waiting, not a weak bug.

4. Now, with this in mind, let's look at the power to alleviate need by applying it to yourself first. When have you needed something in your history? When did you pray about experiencing lack? This could have been in the form of finances, needing a job, needing affordable childcare, needing transportation, needing housing, or in other words, any need that had to be filled, not a want.

5. How did this need get alleviated? How did listening to your soul and unwrapping its gifts help you?

2. It is the mind that wants to see evidence and receipts. The heart has no such requirements. It knows its blessings will be received and opened when the character is ready to do so. The heart knows and trusts in the process of how God creates more of itself. It is the mind that does not trust this holy process.
