Gifts are given on the surface level, while blessings are given on a level that cannot be seen by the human eye. Christ may help someone bring in groceries or buy diapers, for examples. These are loving gifts. The blessing is hidden in the form of a gift in these two cases, but usually, the blessing doesn’t take form right away.
