The Flowering of Christ—Resurrection 15

FR15.3 This said, Christ may also do something tangible to help a character, who may think of this as a blessing, but what it really is, is the icing on the blessing because blessings always extend to souls. Gifts are given on the surface level, while blessings are given on a level that cannot be seen by the human eye. Christ may help someone bring in groceries or buy diapers, for examples. These are loving gifts. The blessing is hidden in the form of a gift in these two cases, but usually, the blessing doesn’t take form right away. I hope this makes the concept of blessing others a little bit clearer.
