D3.3 | 2 - Relationship Through Dependence When you were a newborn baby through early childhood, you were dependent on other aspects of God to care for your physical and emotional needs. Your soul was not yet able to take on these tasks. It works in tandem with the body’s natural operating system, the ego, during the early years. As one grows so does the other. If the ego itself fails to develop properly through neglect or abuse, the soul has less range or capacity to work with. Think of the ego as a container. If it fails to expand, then the soul would therefore have less to work with. God has to work with what it has to express love through. The energy of God spreads through relationship or fails to spread through relationship. This is where it gets tricky. Your soul worked in tandem with a community of souls you were brought up in and each of these were given green lights or red lights by all involved egos. Think of a busy city street. The streetlight systems that are there to prevent accidents can be likened to egos who are continuously saying “go” to souls or “stop” or “proceed with caution”. |
