C30.2 |
When we fail in this duty, we dust ourselves off and try again, liberally forgiving ourselves and remembering that we are human too. What we see may make us angry, and when it does, we will take a step back and sit with our anger until we are good and ready to let it go in a healthy way that doesn’t cause any harm. We are grateful to know about the power of forgiveness and the freedom it provides. We are grateful for lessons learned when we forgive ourselves and others. We are grateful to be in a better place as Christ, at least the vast majority of the time. As for the rest, we accept those as part of our humanness and refrain from beating ourselves up about it or about anything for that matter. |
