C27.2 |
Does patience have a shadow? Indeed it does. It is of course impatience, but patience does not reject impatience or the lack of patience. It accepts it and gives love to it. Christ looks at everything with wholeness, everything as a sum of its parts, not as separate things. Patience includes impatience. There may very well be times on the very day you are reading this message that you may see impatience rise in yourself or you may even see it rise in someone else. It could even be directed towards you. What should you do? Accept it. Laugh at it. Yes, Christ can and will experience impatience, here, there, and everywhere. Refrain from judgment of impatience. Refrain from any and all condemnation of it. Just accept that it is part of us. It is part of us as individuals and it is part of us as the Christ Community and it is part of the larger community out there, with emerging Souls and egos who recklessly drive at 100mph. Yes, patience is part of wisdom, but wisdom accepts things that aren’t patience yet. It’s a process, dears. A long, beautiful, and messy process. |
