| C32.1 | Awareness is not only about what is presenting itself, but it is also about what is emerging, what is wanting to be a bigger part of the conversation. If awareness says, “this doesn’t seem right” or “something seems off about this”, then the soul’s voice of reason is wanting to be heard. If it is listened to, vision of the whole picture of any situation can be obtained. Vision allows the character to see more than what meets the eye. It allows the wisdom of the small, quiet voice to come to the surface. This enables the character to evaluate the loud voice of the ego and to choose right action over harmful action that the ego may be presenting. This is commonly known as following your conscience or following your better angel. Because the ego, or devil with horns if you will, is good at disguising itself, it is frequently difficult to determine if it is, in fact, generated from fear. It could be something cloaked in a religious belief, or a human construct, or a political ideology. The soul will shine its light on this and help you to see the truth about it. There are a lot of wolves in sheep’s clothing out there. They smile and seem “nice”, and yet they have a fear-based agenda that they hope you will buy into. Souls have seen every trick in the book.
