| C20.1 | Rick has had his first sips of coffee. Now let's continue. Let's talk about you and about us as a whole. You are each well educated in the spiritual sense. You may have the equivalent of a master's degree or a PhD by spending years reading and applying our offerings. You know your true identity as soul, an aspect of God. You know about the ego and our purpose in overcoming it. You know that fear is the absence of love and the call for it. You know about the Holy Instant and its importance. You know about all of the major dilemmas between ego and soul. You have real, workable strategies for sorting through your thoughts and feelings. You know that being Christ is to be real, not some idealized state of consciousness. You know that Christ differs greatly in its presentation from person to person, but that it is literally God walking around in these various bodies, giving love to itself, giving a helping hand, giving a blessing here and a doing there. You know about the powers of Christ and the real potential in each of your blessings or extensions of love. You know that you are soul and are also human, with complex needs. You have a history, with both successful and failed relationships of all types. You have learned to acknowledge the past and to let go of things from it when you are ready, so that you can be free, and freedom is where your happiness is, in the here and now. You have learned to accept what life gives you, whether you like it or whether it delivers its hard lessons. And no, you didn't learn any of this from the world, because it doesn't know any of these things, only soul does, only God does. Let's call this ‘You 2.0.’ |
